“Gog”

Mentioned only once in the New Testament (Rev. 20:8), “Gog” is a name.  Based on Ezek. 38:8-9, 16, “Gog” represents an anti-God force (power).  Hailey (Revelation, p. 397) pointed out how Gog and Magog “do not gather around a conference table and offer themselves to the devil in a nefarious pact; but being deceived, they are drawn to him as were the kings of old.”

In Rev. 20:8-9 it appears “Gog” illustrates how all of God’s enemies will eventually be overthrown at the end of time.
